I am pleased to announce that the 21st Japan-Korea-China Pediatric Nephrology Seminar will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Okinawa Prefecture Municipal Center in Naha City, Okinawa. I am currently the President of the Society, and it is a great honor for me to host this traditional seminar.
COVID-19 has now become a part of everyday life all over the world, and international academic activities have become more and more active. Face-to-face seminars are important as a forum for education and discussion, and we are determined to make diligent preparations to reaffirm the significance of such seminars.
By bringing together pediatric nephrology specialists from Japan, Korea, and China to exchange information on the latest research results and treatment methods, this seminar is expected to improve medical technologies and the quality of medical care provided to patients in each country. As an international seminar, it will also provide an opportunity to share expertise across cultural and language barriers and provide an excellent educational opportunity for young people. This will promote better understanding of challenges and solutions in different cultures and health care systems, and facilitate international collaboration and cooperation.
The weather in Okinawa in April is very pleasant, warm, and humid. The average temperature is about 20-25 degrees Celsius, making it a comfortable time of year. April is also the beginning of the tourist season, when beaches and tourist attractions begin to bustle with activity. Many traditional Okinawan festivals and cultural events are held in April, providing more opportunities to interact with the local people. It is a wonderful time to enjoy Okinawa’s rich nature and culture.
We sincerely look forward to welcoming you from all over Japan so that you can spend a rich time here in Okinawa, revitalizing your communication, and enjoying your time with inspiration and creativity.
